Seattle's Japanese Garden In Bloom Is Eye Candy

                                           Awestruck.

That's how I felt last weekend while walking through the
Seattle Japanese Garden for the first time and seeing it in Spring bloom.

 Around every corner, it seemed,

are extravagant bursts of color.

Eye candy.

A large pond is the focal point of this most serene garden,

with vignettes both artistic and finely detailed.

The garden was designed by Juki Iida in 1960 and a specialist from
Japan is a regular consultant for maintenance.

I find myself more enamored of Japanese gardens with each one I visit

and I have to say this is the prettiest Japanese garden I have seen to date.

Speaking of dates, I understand that the garden is usually
in peak bloom from mid-April through May.
Grab someone you love and go for a stroll in the Seattle Japanese Garden.
