A Garden With The View: Villa Rufolo

It's known that I am a pushover for a garden,

any garden.

Spring flower beds planted with viola?
Sweet.

But a garden set in a 13th century villa, with stone buildings

and beautiful architecture in Italy? Even better.

How about a stunning sculpture show, by Alba Gonzalez, in the garden?

She's got my attention.

Oh, and throw in a peek-a-view.

iconic Italian stone pines.

gorgeous blue water, mountains and a coastline,

and it just doesn't get much better

than this garden with the view, from Villa Rufolo, Ravello, Italy.

Ciao, bella!

  1. Hi Jeannine, you made it to Italy, yeah!!! I am so happy for you! The second last photo of the coast line is just stunningly beautiful. I love art exhibited in gardens and there is certainly an interesting exhibition going on in this one. The beautiful and impressively big terracotta jar in the second and third photo from the top caught my attention, too. I would love to have something like this in my own garden. You can always dream...
